Derby Video

As I mentioned in my last post, I've joined the local Roller Derby Team: The State College Area Rollers (SCAR for short.)

We had our first bout last weekend.  More of a scrimmage, really, since it was just our team skating against our team.

Since I'm still a beginner, I didn't skate in the bout itself, but I did skate in the Derby 101 demonstration. That's where we explain to the spectators how Roller Derby works (it's kind of complicated, and most people don't know the rules.)

The Boy™ took a bit of video. It isn't great and doesn't show much but the ten of us standing around, but it's what I have.
