This Time in Seattle

Today we took the bus into Seattle.

It was awesome.

We went to the Public Library.

Which is the awesomest library I have ever been in ever. I could live in that library forever and be perfectly happy. That library puts all other libraries I have ever been in to whining, sniveling shame.

Then we went to Pike Place Market, which is this really cool sort of outdoor farmer's market kind of thing. We got some souvenirs then went across the street to a little Mediterranean place for lunch.

We hiked across town (at least it felt like across town to me) to the Science Fiction Museum and Experience Music Project, which were also cool in a dorky kind of way.

A few blocks away, we posed for some pictures in front of the Space Needle (you get better pictures from a few blocks away -- you can yourself and the entire Space Needle in the picture that way.) Then we caught the bus back to Tacoma.

We sat in the sauna at the hotel for a while, and now we are relaxing in the room, munching on bagels and watching Food Network. We're in for the night and being lazy, as one must do while on vacation. Tomorrow, we'll take another bus to Seattle, this time to the University district to check out the University of Washington. Snazzy Joe says there is a yarn store in the vicinity that I am going to try to find.
